This track was my contribution to the Portland State University Sonic Arts and Music Production program's sound art installation titled 45°N: Circadian Rhythms, which took place from June 3rd to June 7th of 2019.
Myself, along with my fellow students in the SAMP VI: Integrated Sound Arts class, were tasked with picking a location and time in Portland to use its sonic field as a subject of study. We spent the term deconstructing field recordings we captured, repurposing, replicating, and manipulating them. We then created an interactive space where participants could hear our pieces as a whole by walking through an array of mono speakers that played them on a loop.
